So I am getting married in less then two months

What the hell!

I can't believe how quickly time is streaming through my fingers right now.
I am amazed, daily, that we have been living at the lake for over a month and I STILL HAVEN'T SET UP MY COMPUTER.

This is ridiculous.

My friend Julie got married last summer and she told me I would be surprised by the swiftness of time, but I was all " naw, it will be fine. I am totally on it."

Alas. No. This is in fact NOT THE CASE.

But all is not lost. We've still got another 58 days or something.

Is it weird that I feel like I might barf?
I am going to assume that it's normal.

But my Friend Angie (who is making my dress) and I went to the fabric store yesterday with our girl Imrie and we got a pattern.
And next we'll pick out fabric.

And then my dress is done.
Just like that!
I know it's not JUST LIKE THAT, but let me float in blissful ignorance for at least another week.

FGI to be interviewed today!

We are all getting ready to head down to the store (oh yeah we have a STORE!!! It's unreal and amazing and you can visit us because WE ARE OPEN!!)
Phew! That little bit of excitement caught me off guard!

Anyway, we are being interviewed by Sarah Petrescu from the Times Colonist this morning and the article (with photos!) will run in the May 26th paper.

Just in time for the GRAND OPENING on May 29th.

Don't you worry lovelies, I'l post more information about that soon!

Studio is being worked on TODAY!!

I am very excited to tell you that I am making some progress on the studio space. It's been taking a bit longer than I had hoped because I've been working like MAD in town with Floating Gold Iceberg getting the store ready.

And let me tell you, it's pretty amazing.

And this is my first full weekend since I started working with FGI so I am really happy to plug away in some Janamade space and get that baby rolling too.

So without further ado, I'm going to get back to it.
